TIM FIRTH TAKES ON ALL COMERS
Sunday 7th May: 8.00pm: TIM FIRTH TAKES ON ALL COMERS and Flash Fiction Competition winners announced
Have you ever wondered how to write a play, a musical or get a production on the West End stage or prime time television? Well, now is your chance to find out from an expert.
Tim Firth, our festival patron and Oliver-award-winning writer of Calendar Girls, Neville’s Island, Flint Street Nativity, Our House, The Band and countless other smash hit productions, has kindly offered to provide the answers – and nothing is off limits!
Festival manager Lynn Pegler will host this lively and revealing discussion. But the floor is yours. Bring written questions with you to the event or email in advance – anything you might want to ask about how plays get written, put on, screwed up, how films get made, ruined, famous, how musicals work, how one man shows with pop stars work…now is your chance to challenge a living writer in total anonymity.
Greatest achievements, greatest embarrassments – it’s all up for grabs!
Please Email advance questions to pm@weaverwords.org.uk
