Interview with screenwriter and author Tony Schumacher
Liverpool writer and broadcaster Tony Schumacher is the author of the hit BBC TV drama series The Responder, inspired by his ten-year service in uniform with Merseyside Police.
Tony will be talking about his eventful career, which has taken him from PC on the Mersey beat to a successful novelist and screenwriter.
He’ll discuss his breakthrough into the writing world through his three novels, including The Darkest Hour, an alternative history of 1940s Britain, after a hypothetical Nazi victory in World War Two.
