Mick Ord
Mick Ord is a Media/Crisis Communications trainer, who also co-presents the popular podcast ‘Misadventures in Music‘ with musician Ian Prowse.

He is the former manager of BBC Radio Merseyside and runs his consultancy – Mick Ord Media – from his office in the Baltic Triangle area of Liverpool.
Dr Francois Nel
Dr François Nel is Associate Professor of Media Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Central Lancashire, where he leads the Journalism Innovation and Leadership Programme and is associate director the Institute for Creativity, Community and Culture. He is also the lead researcher for World Press Trends & Outlook for WAN-IFRA, the World Association of News Publishers, providing global insights into the state of the news industry.
His current work includes an inquiry into the lessons the media and other stakeholders can learn from the unrest sparked by the tragic killings of three girls in Southport.
An award-winning researcher and educator, he advises news organisations worldwide on strategies for innovation, sustainability, and impact.
Michael Green
Michael Green has worked as a newspaper journalist for more than four decades, the last 25 years as editor.

He is now responsible for editing four separate titles:
– The Chester Chronicle
– Crewe and Nantwich Chronicle
– Runcorn and Widnes Weekly News
– Southport Visiter.
Tom Conway
Tom Conway  is an experienced executive in the social media tech world, having worked for Snapchat and is now employed by Meta (Facebook).

He started his career at book publishers’ HarperCollins, and Condé Nast, home to Vogue, GQ and Vanity Fair.
