Gerald Dickens, great, great grandson of Charles Dickens, makes a welcome return to Weaver Words with a stunning show based on his famous relative’s novel Nicholas Nickleby.
In an unforgettable one-man performance, Gerald takes us on a fast-paced journey around Devonshire, London and Yorkshire, as he plays the hero Nicholas Nickleby, cruel schoolmaster Wackford Squeers, simple Smike and dozens of other characters to tell this dramatic and much-loved complex Victorian tale.
